AFCAT Eligibility and Age Limit 2015

Ground Duty Branches

Qualification: PG or Bachelor degree or CA or LLB holder with at least 60% marks

Age Limit:

Graduates 20 to 23 years.
PG holders /5 years integrated LLB 20 to 25 years in age.
For 3 year LLB after graduation 20 to 26 years in age.
M.Ed/ Ph.D/ CA/ICWA 20 to 27 years in age.

Flying Branch

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduation with 60% aggregate marks

Age Limit: 20 to 23 years.

Height: 162.5 cms for males and females.

Technical Branch

  • Qualification: Degree of Aeronautical Engineering
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
  • Height: 152 cms for female and 157.5 cms for male.

For Accounts:

Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree in commerce discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate or postgraduate degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50%.

For Education:

Candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks.

Selection Procedure

  • Written test.
  • Interview.
  • Physical examination (Medical test).

AFCAT Exam Pattern

Exam duration will be 2 hour. The question paper will comprise of 100 questions. For each correct answer 3 marks and for wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
