TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) is common aptitude exam, which is being held every year by the Tata Institute of Social taking admission in Tata Institute of Social Science.

Students can apply for a minimum one and maximum five programmes across the four TISS campuses by giving the TISS-NET entrance test. National entrance test is a computer based test, it will be held in different regions.

TISS entrance exam written test in two parts part I and Part II.

Part I: part I is the objective type test for all the programmes which consist of three section:

I: General Awareness / Knowledge about current / contempory social issues.

II: Analytical Logical reasoning and quantative ability.

III: verbal reasoning

Part II: Part II written exam is a programme based test it is 60 min duration test. Part II of the written test for each programme aims to assess the following:

II: Group Discussion

III: Disability studies and action

IV: Counselling
