Now it’s time to celebrate 67th Independence Day with great pomp and show. We celebrate Independence Day as India got political, social, religious & economical independence from the British rule on 15th August 1947 and that day is celebrated as Independence Day every year. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime-Minister of Free India, said on this special occasion:-
“At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom,”
So many unknown patriot heroes risked their lives so that all of us may breathe in freedom. Achieving independence was a fabulous task. On 15th August 1947 when a new Democratic country attracted the World with its principles of Peace and Non-Violence, it had to face many challenges before to stand in the world scenario. Then, the building of the country began in right earnest. Today, we have achieved a milestone by completing 67 years of independence.
India is heading towards major superpower in the world. During the last sixty years, India has seen many up and downs. India is a 67 years old country, but is still very young, highly energetic and is working enthusiastically towards its betterment. Our Former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalama said:
“The Best brains of the nation may be found on the last benches of the classrooms.”
India is now world’s 3rd powerful countries. India is world’s 3rd largest military power on the Earth and India has recently launched its new submarine namely- VIKRANT INS and done many Space Researches. Besides that now, India is the first Software Developer Country of the World.
We can easily estimate the power of India that Foreigners are inviting our leaders. Sh. Narendra Modi, C.M. of Gujarat is the great instance of it.
At this special occasion Christopher Fordyce, BA’s regional commercial manager for South Asia, said-
“British Airways is amongst the first international airlines to fly to India. This year marks our 84th year of flying to India and we are proud to be sharing such a long legacy with this great country.” This reflects the power of India.
Today, India’s is shining on the World Map. In these 67 years India has made it’s mark in almost every field. India is regarded as the country of Diversity. Yet, it is parallel apparent that there is a unique Unity, which makes it different. With huge diversities, it is not easy to achieve the progress & development, yet we made that by following the path of Oneness. Let all of us hope that the dream of our former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalama of a developed India by 2020 will come true & we all become part of it.
Wishing You All A Very Happy Independence Day
May Our Country Progress In All Aspects
