Selection Procedure for Clerk
IBPS invites an application form every year for the clerical grade post. These vacancies are for 20 public Sector banks. It is a great opportunity for aspirants to make a career in IBPS because it gives you a chance for 21 public sector banks through a single common written exam.
The CWE Common Written exam for clerical post will conducted once in a year by IBPS. After clear the CWE exam, selected candidates will go for interview process. Selected candidates get their joining on merit base.
Selection Procedure for Probationary Officer
The same procedure is applied for the post of Probationary officer (PO). Candidates will go for Common written test but the questions level is high in comparison to clerical grade post. Shortlisted candidates will go for common interview and qualified candidates will join according to merit list.
Selection Procedure for Specialist Officer
Same procedure is applied for Specialist officer but the difference is that the CWE exam for Specialist officer is on computer based. So computer knowledge is must for IBPS entrance examination. The entrance test contains one more section that is Professional Knowledge.
